Welcome!
You have found the Tupper Lake Police Department's web site. Whether
you are just surfing the web, live in and around our area or are
planning a trip here, we hope that this web page will help you.
As you navigate this web site, you will see that we have put in
some pictures from our past, starting with the first Chief of
the Department back in 1905. You will also find sections on local
laws, forms that pertain to our department and a page which is
devoted to commonly used but sometimes hard to find phone numbers.
You will also find an e-mail system set up for our officers and
dispatchers to answer questions or to just read your comments.
The
idea of this web site came from Sgt. Eric Proulx who put in a
large amount of his own time to get it on the web. We all here
in this department would like to thank Eric for his work on these
pages. Our department has been around now for over 100 years and
is committed to adding to the quality of life in our area. The
department is composed of a Chief, 2 Sergeants, 8 full time officers
and 7 part time dispatchers. We provide services 24 hours a day,
7 days a week, maintaining an active road patrol and manned desk
at all times.
I invite
you to offer suggestions and be a part of our web site. So enjoy
your visit with us and I am glad that you took the time. We are
especially interested in documenting the history and prior personnel
of this department. If you have any information or old photo's,
please contact us.
Sincerely
yours,
Chief
Thomas J. Fee
